They are crushed, heated, and extruded into polyester "fluff" then drawn into thread, woven into fabric, and sewn into shirts and hats. Each shirt or hat recovers 8 two liter bottles. An extraordinary process and as green as it gets. Includes up to 8,000 stitches of embroidery.
