Description: A chunk of colored glass is picked up on a blow pipe and heated in the furnace. A gather of clear glass is applied over the colored glass from the furnace crucible. A discreet selection of granulated colored glass is laid out on a steel marver in a pre-determined pattern using a sand painting technique. The gather of hot glass is then rolled through the colored glass which transfers the pattern to the molten glass. 5.5" L x 9" W
